The Wedding Party Maid of Honor - Stacy is the older sister of Chelsea by 3 years. Both girls grew up in Hawai’i together. Stacy left for college in Boulder, Colorado, and finished her degree in Nursing at the University of San Francisco. She is currently working at the children’s hospital at Stanford for children with cancer. Stacy will also be marrying her fiance Daniel in Hawaii on July 1, 2005. Stacy's an avid skiier and a constant traveler. Best Man - Dan is a friend and roommate of Dave from college. The two became extremely close through hiking adventures in the High Sierras and Yosemite National Forest. Dan has recently received his Masters from Denver Seminary and is living with his wife, Emily, in Templeton, California. Bride's Maid - Jill is the oldest sister of Chelsea, but perhaps youngest at heart. She is very active in her church, Rock Hills, and is also well along towards getting a nursing degree. Jill lives in Mission Viejo, California, with her husband Kevin (who will be conducting the wedding ceremony) and her two children, Krystine and Stephen. She grew up in the Westlake area. Jill's lately taken on the job of communicating and organizing for the whole family. She's a very hard worker and will always have a great creative idea if you ask her. Groom's Man - Tyler and David knew each other from Engineering Physics major at Westmont College. He is currently living and working in Santa Barbara, California and plans to attain his Masters in Hydrology. Among his hobbies are surfing, wood crafting and throwing shindigs at his house. He's also been known to cut a rug or two at the country line dancing bar Mavericks. Bride's Maid - Kim and Chelsea originally met through a mutual friend. They would hang out at the University of Santa Barbara in California, often having lunch together and sometimes sharing classes, and spent many hours studying/talking in coffee shops. They’ve become great friends and currently work in a partnership with each other working on a movie-based website, Hollywood Lot. Kim grew up in Morgan Hill, Califonia and recently moved to Portland, Oregon. Groom's Man - Johan was originally one of Dave's soccer coaches at Westmont College. He and Dave work together as financial consultants at Frisell Financial. Johan is originally from Sweden, but now lives in Santa Barbara, California with his wife, Bethany, and two children. Bride's Maid - Iveta first met Chelsea when they moved in together as roommates. Iveta is originally from Slovakia, but came to the US at 16 to go to school in Texas. She got her degree at California Polytechnic Institute and afterwards moved to Santa Barbara. Iveta has taken many financial planning courses which is where she met Dave and then was responsible for introducing him to Chelsea. She is a wonderful roommate and friend. Groom's Man - Scott is a friend of Dave's and also the brother of Chelsea. He lives in Honolulu, Hawaii with his wife, Kathy, and two children. He works as a Loan manager in downtown Honolulu. Scott is known for his impeccable travel knowledge and also is an impressive cook. Scott grew up in California and spent a lot of time in San Diego before moving to Hawaii about 15 years ago. He is also an excellent baseball player. Bride's Maids - Krystine & Kylie are the bride's neices. Krystine is the daughter of Jill and grew up in southern California, while Kylie is the daughter of Scott and grew up in Hawaii. Krystine and Kylie are both talented soccer players and two of the sweetest girls you'll come across. Groom's Man - Stephen is the nephew of the bride and a friend of Dave's. He is also the son of Jill and grew up in southern California with his sister Krystine. He is currently very active in sports. Ring Bearer - John is the nephew of the bride and also the son of Scott. He's grown up in Hawaii with his sister Kylie. He is currently active in soccer and considering a career as a fireman or police man.
